<a href="http://macvm.com/guest-pc/>Guest PC, a PowerPC-based virtual environment for Mac OS X, has once again been updated (apparently there was no 1.9.1 or 1.9.2):

Bug Fixes

* Crash in Nokia PC Suite
* After Hibernate crash in Windows XP
* Sound cripple/distortion in some applications
* Some FPU emulation errors

Enhancements

    * MMX instruction set added
* Up to 15% performance boost
* Improved printing to Mac printers
* Better stability and compatibily

Once again, just as version 1.9 offered a huge performance boost, so to has 1.9.3, with the addition of MMX instructions. For those users still on PowerPC-based Macs, this is welcome news, as every bit of performance they can squeeze out of it is needed.

<a href="http://macvm.com/guest-pc/>Guest PC has undergone a major upgrade, with the release of version 1.9

Changes:
Bug Fixes:

    * Drag-And-Drop stop working in the full screen mode
* Occasional crashes on Guest PC exit
* Incorrect USB recognition in some Linux distributions

Enhancements:

    * Up to 40% performance improvement
* Better stability and compatibility

Yes, you read that right, they are claiming that Guest PC is offering up to 40% more performance on some systems. Guest PC has definitely become the standard VM software for PowerPC-based Macs.
